    after saving and quitting from the vi how to compile the shell script?
    i tried simply as sh filename.sh

    but showing command not found

      First of all, thanx for considering my post whether it be useful or useless in your point of view. Tools are never useless or bogus till you expect more than its scope. If u need to use a full featured OS u can install and use RHEL/CENTOS/FEDORA/UBUNTU or any other flavor of Linux which u like. The above tools are online and they cant be full featured. They only provide basic look and feel of the Linux terminal which is very useful for those who cant install Linux or dont have a PC to practice Linux commands. These tools support lot many commands from basic to advance level but it is obvious that without installing a full Linux OS u cant learn it. Even Ubuntu is also providing its online tool so that users can take a tour of it before installing it. check this link:

    hi, am a project student doing a project on a web based SQL tutorial. am using dream weaver to build the website. am faced with a challenge and will really appreciate it if u could help. i have to create an online terminal that users can practice the SQL commands online. the terminal has to work like the way SQL command line works. i need help to go about it.

      There are two ways you can access SQL cmd terminal.

      Either use the online SQL terminal in which you dont have to install anything on your system, for which you can visit my post -
